Sofia Bisogno joined PSE Healthy Energy as an Air Quality Analyst in 2023. Prior to joining PSE, Bisogno worked as an Air Quality and Sustainability Consultant, conducting emissions inventories, health risk assessments, air dispersion modeling, and life cycle assessments to support various clients in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. Her clients spanned across multiple industries, including heavy industry, renewable energy generation, and real estate development.
Bisogno holds a BSE from Princeton University in Civil and Environmental Engineering where she focused on measuring and mapping in real time air quality data with the Princeton Atmospheric Chemistry Experiment. Her thesis compared the life cycle greenhouse gas impacts from a waste-to-energy project in Uruguay to a proposed alternative composting plant.
