Jaclyn Casale joined the PSE Healthy Energy team as operations manager in August 2019. Prior to PSE, Jaclyn worked for over 10 years in mission-driven organizations, including a state-level environmental nonprofit focused on soil and water conservation, healthcare industries, bicycle components manufacturer, and outdoor events. As operations director at PSE, Jaclyn is engaged in the human resource needs of the team, supporting executive initiatives, and the administrative needs of the staff and organization.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she has lived in the San Francisco Bay area since 2011 and enjoys maintaining a work-life balance by trying to coax tomatoes to grow in a community garden plot, enjoying a nice hike through the city or the redwoods, or attending a local rock, metal, or comedy show. Jaclyn is also a Patient Advisory Board member for PCOS Challenge, the National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association, and advocates for PCOS patients and related health policy and research funding to Congressional legislators on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, in San Francisco, and in virtual zoom meetings. In 2021, I joined as Co-Chair of the Health Policy Committee to work with interns and PCOS advocates in completing literature reviews, drafting health policy, and making priority recommendations for consideration by PCOS Challenge.
Jaclyn completed her BA in Liberal Studies and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management at California State University, East Bay. She is currently an MBA candidate at California State University, East Bay and expected to graduate in August 2024.
