Overview
On June 8, 2018 PSE Senior Scientist Dr. Dominic DiGiulio presented at the Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment’s Summer Water Conference in Boulder, Colorado. Dr. DiGiulio discussed the need for regulatory criteria to protect brackish (salty) groundwater during oil and gas development. DiGiulio also discussed his research on hydraulic fracturing into formations that resulted in contaminating drinking water in Pavillion, Wyoming.
